I use a Desantis 3 slot for my G23 with friction retention. I carry with the Forward cant with a tight retention. You have to pull it a very specific way for it to come out quick. any other way and it will just snag really bad. By that time there is no element of surprise and said gun stripper would be to busy defending himself from various defensive measures to worry about getting my gun.
it would be to awkward for someone to access it from behind, they would have to come from straight on to even get it out of the holster quick enough for me to stop them. I have seen several Plane clothes LEO from different departments/agencies with the exact same style holster i use so I figured if it works for them.
