Hammer time! How do you pull wadcutters??
Have 357’s, will travel.
There may be a future range report. Follow me for updates
Sounds good to me. Hopefully we can find somewhere outdoors to shoot that isn't too soggy.I have a chronograph I will loan you 2 or I will go and shoot with you guys and bring it and a couple more 357's
I’ve never pulled handgun bullets, but I’ve pulled a ton out of rifle ammo. I use a kinetic bullet puller. How do you pull wadcutters??
Well wadcutters are typically flush with the case, no way to get puller on them. I have loaded 1000s of wadcutters for 38 back in the day and only way I know is to drill out bullet (or shoot it out!)I’ve never pulled handgun bullets, but I’ve pulled a ton out of rifle ammo. Kinetic pullers don’t care about the projectile. Just chuck the rim up in the collet, put it in the puller, and bang away. The bullet’s mass (or, I suppose, inertia, if you want to be pedantic) will take care of the extraction.Well wadcutters are typically flush with the case, no way to get puller on them.
