Where I work, the "public" comes in a lot. Someone went by one weekend and glued a nickel to the concrete and allowed it to set up over that weekend. Eventually, someone finally managed to get the nickel, but it was in place on the concrete for over a year.

Now, who'd a thunk it, but there is a camera watching that area in front of the building.

A hardware store in a small town where I was living as a teenager had a five and twenty dollar bill glued and clear coated on the floor just inside the main door. . . they laughed about how many people would bend over to try and pick it up.

Another good trick is to epoxy a nickel, dime, quarter, etc. to the bottom of a toilet or urinal especially if you can do it in a bar. Some people will try and get "free money" any way they can.
