What's for Christmas dinner ?

Mama informed me last night that she's going to fix a beef pot roast with potatoes and carrots for Christmas dinner and she'll also make some homemade egg noodles to go along with it like my mom always did.....it's just the two of us so I'll be having some good leftovers the day after.

It will just be my wife and I and maybe some friends that have no family for Christmas this year. We re buying a ham and turkey breast from Honey Bake Ham. The wife is making mash potatoes, corn fritter casarole, green beans and homemade bread.

I’ll be smoking a large home cured raw ham from a pig we fed out. I’m excited about the cook! Been saving this one for Christmas

We do breakfast brunch with all the kids and grandkids, there will be 18 of us
Three egg casseroles, (2 sausage 1 like a western omlet) biscuits with gravy, and hash brown patties if I can find them
Kids bring some sweets for afterwards

We keep it simple for Christmas. We buy cold cuts and cheeses from a local German market, and we have sandwiches.

Normally we do a Prime Rib and have some folks over, but I got talked into that for Thanksgiving.

We still have our Turkey, so I'll probably smoke it spatchcocked style after a brine.

Linguini with smoked salmon sauce. Real Caesar salad made with anchovies and raw eggs (gasp).

Picked up a cheap ham somewhere so that, mashed tators & gravy, beans of green and maybe some low carb biscuits.
