What kind of pipe? Hopefully it isn't the gray colored PB.

You can use air pressure to hear gurgling water from a leak. Turn off the water supply to the house and make a connection from an air tank to a faucet or hose bib.

It's copper. I actually thought of using air yesterday (or maybe it was sometime during the night? lol, haven't slept much lately). :thumb:

I think the carpet over all the lines has been replaced with vinyl flooring (tile or rolled), so that should make it easier to hear (providing it's not under a cabinet or the built-in stove).

Think I can put a long piece of tubing on one of our stethoscopes so I don't have to lie in the floor to listen.

Still need to dig up the line between the house & cutoff valve to make sure it's not there.
