Where did you buy your first gun.

My dad bought me a .22 rifle, sometime between 1971-72. 81/2 years old, and it was MY rifle. Not my dad's or grandad's that I took hunting or shooting, it was mine.

My first gun purchase was in 1984 from a pawnshop in OKC...sorry, don't remember where. My dad took me to get my first lever action 22. I ended up buying a West German built Ithica Gun for $105. I still love shooting that gun.

John Lawmaster, the Gun and Ammo Jail. Was the first FFL I ever bought a handgun from. He had a llama 1911 in 9mm that had been to a smith and slicked up. That thing shot beautifully, the day I traded it he told me I was a fool and he was right.

Wal Mart in 1989 was the first rifle I bought. It was a winchester bolt gun in .308 for deer season.
