Which 40 cal pistol is best?

I have a SIG P229 SCT that I carry often. I recently acquired a G22 and I've been carrying it some. Even though they are completely different, those would be my top two choices, a G22/G23 or a SIG P229. You should try both and see which you like.

I really love my S&W Chiefs Special Automatic, but other than that I would say any of the Glocks mentioned before and you can never go wrong with Sig either, but the one you can handle best is the best one, as far as reliability is concerned though, these are great...

XD is the best right now.NO glocks in 40, except long slide,google police problems with glock 40,i got 566,000 hits,its just a 9mm with barrel bored out and the 40 is too much for the frame size,go to stopping power.com and look in glock forum, topic. problems with our G22. 12 pages,mostly by cops talking about their problems with G22's & G23's ,a XD longslide 40 would be my choice as long as its not for CC,tacticle teams are going to longslide as concealment is not an issue to them.

"Best" is a pretty subjective term. What's best for me may not be what's best for you or anybody else. Shop around and see what feels best to you.
