I finished up the most recent project. A budget friendly Swiss watch restoration. The brand gets a bad rap. Dufonte originally put out really great watches. They got bought out, started using lower quality parts, and eventually went the way of the Dodo. You can find Dufontes for very low prices, but if you can get one of the older models, they are considerably nicer than those that followed, and one hell of a good value for a vintage Swiss watch.

It's a stunning watch with an excellent Swiss mechanical movement all for a very low budget (considering all labor was my own).

The restoration video has been uploaded to Patreon and is live on there. I'm still rendering the regular YouTube version and will hopefully have it posted tonight or tomorrow.

You guys need to watch this one on Youtube. The movement is beautiful, too bad they did not put the glass backs on them back in the day!! Adam also gave a great run down on the history of this watch make that is cool. Awesome watch Adam.

Thanks a bunch. That video has really taken off. It's got nearly 50,000 views! None of my other videos have broken 9k, and generally hover around 3k-5k (which I think is awesome). Something about this one though....lol. I don't know if it is it's unique look, the fact that it is more complicated, or that it was in terrible shape to start. Maybe a combination of the three, but that video just keeps getting watched. YouTube shows it has over 900,000 impressions, and nearly 50K views. It's crazy.
