I’ve been home most of the day, except for a quick trip to the doctor earlier. Regarding the Benrus I posted about earlier, I decided to re-use the existing mainspring to get the video done before my upcoming work trip in a few days (assuming I recover in time). The new mainspring arrived today, so while resting at home, I went ahead and swapped it out. The original mainspring worked fine, and the watch kept decent time, but the amplitude wasn’t as strong as it could’ve been. Now, with the new mainspring installed, this old watch is running like a Formula 1 car!
