I would trade my kid brother to the Arabs,,,
If it would get me an original Whitney Wolverine with a couple of extra mags.

When I was a young boy in south-side OKC,,,
One of the neighborhood kids had one,,,
It was the sexiest pistol imaginable.

If I remember correctly,,,
It was as reliable as any other pistol in our band of boys.

But very few of us had semi-auto's in the early 1960's,,,
Most had revolvers like my Colt Frontier Scout,,,
That's if we had a handgun at all.

Within the last ten years or so,,,
Someone made a polymer framed version,,,
They got terrible reviews so I didn't even try to find one.

They also didn't last long in the market,,,
I only saw one in the wild at a Wannenmacher's gun show.

The crooked seller was trying to pass it off as an original,,,
And was asking a ridiculous price for it.
