I have to give a plug for laxammo.com; I ordered on Tuesday and recieved my order today. 3 days; not bad. Prices are a tiny bit hogher than Freedom Munitions maybe, but you can get a lot more selection of ammo to buy, not just their own "house brand" stuff. I am pleased with laxammo.com and will order from them again. I did include a couple boxes of thier own brand of 230 gr FMJ so will report back after I burn it up.

When I lived in Stillwater (where SGAmmo is) I ordered 2 crates of 7.62x54R ammo for a batch of Mosin Nagants I had bought as Christmas gifts.

I placed my order at about 6:30pm.
At 10am (that's 15 1/2 hours later for the math illiterate) I heard a thump and a knock as the delivery guy put a 40lb box on my porch.

It was the most amazing feat of logistics I had ever seen.

Sportsman Guide, love 'em. They have a lot of my oddball ammo (.32 S&W, tokarev, 7.5 Swiss, etc) and it's quite often best price. Once in a while the BX beats them but that's it. Anyway, they nearly always have free shipping, and it's typically been about 2-3 days. I've ordered from them a few times now.

I tried for weeks to let me pick-up my orders.

Still though,,,
They have good prices,,,
And it's always been decent stuff.

I know a guy who worked there,,,
He said it's because of their insurance.

If they allowed pick-up,,,
Even just backing up to their dock,,,
The insurance considers them a retail store and charges a lot more.

I just ordered 1000 rounds from bulkammo and they shipped very fast on standard shipping, Ill have to compare the price and see how these other sites are in comparison.

One nice thing about the SGAMMO website,,,
They list the shipping cost beside all bulk ammo prices.

Some places make you go through the whole shopping cart thing to find out the shipping cost.

I have bought several thousands of rounds multiple calibers from Freedom, only had trouble with one box they replaced the box plus sent replacements for the full order of 500 rounds.
