Who has a Ninja blender?

My wife is wanting a Ninja Mega Kitchen System 1500.

I am sure I will end up getting it, but was wondering if anyone has one.

If so, Goods? Bads?

Wife has one. Now that we have it she never uses it. When she did use it it would blend the carp out of stuff.

Makes one heck of a breakfast smoothy, and it makes party drinks in a snap. Not sure it beats my Nutri-bullet, but it sure has a major size advantage

if you get one, get the one with the new blade configuration (The one with blades at opposing angles at the bottom). We have one with the original configuration, and it "chops" more than it "blends". Makes good smoothies, but when making chile, there's huge chunks of skin because it doesn't create the vortex that a normal blender does.

Is this another model, or is it something they changed?

I've got the professional model. I'm very happy with it.

Pros: tons of power, easy to use, easy to clean.
Cons: need earplugs because its extremely loud, not cheap.
