I'm only hearing media folks wonder why Obama didn't use this as ammo. I've yet to see anyone say Obama took the lead in this debate - he clearly didn't.

You can be the accused or the accuser in a political debate. It's ALWAYS better to be the accuser. You can accuse someone of ridiculous hyperbolic ********, and if they respond to it earnestly - they look like the believe it. Obama straight-up lost. Obama sounded like he was begging a banker for a loan or a a girl not to break up with him.

I've seen reporters hit Romney harder than Obama did. Pathetic. Clinton would have had 12 soundbites in this debate. Obama has 0.

Lets play pretend for a sec. Can you imagine the beat down Newt would have dished out? Why oh why couldn't we see that?! :crying:

Now the media is saying that the obummer made a decision to "not" get into the Governers face, and ride on the facts......

This is getting better all the time!!!

I don't know what you're listening to. I hate Romney and I know he won. Iggy knows he won. My liberal friends know he won. The media (none of them Romney fans or Repub fans) I'm watching/reading knows he won. Carville says Obama was weak.

Obama was sickly-looking awkward Nixon and Romney was virile JFK. No excuses, just an objectively terrible performance at the podium. Chirst, I would have at least made a joke about Big Bird on the chopping block.

Obama played the super safe 2 minute defense that loses games for NFL teams every Sunday.

WTF?

Are you fighting for the job or coasting towards retirement Mr. Preznit?

But guys, one key to Romney's victory on points is the fact that he suddenly changed his positions on taxes and health care.

Not really...he just refuses to call a tax cut "spending". In a vaccum, trimming the rates appears, on the surface, to cost money...but if trimming the rates spurs growth then you get more taxpayers and suddenly the thing Obama wants to call "spending" turns into revenue.

We have 10 people paying $1.00....bringing in $10. Obama want's to increase it to $1.25 in order to bring in $12.50

Romney is proposing cutting it to .75 and spurring growth and increasing the tax base to 20....and bringing in $15.

That's not "spending" and it doesn't "have to be paid for" like people keep saying.
