I really like those 3rd gen all metal Smiths. My current one is a 4506. Saving my bucks for a TSW. I am betting you will love that 10.
How will I be able to tell if it's a FBI model? I paid about 2/3 of the market price (including shipping and buyer's premium).
Another serial number prefix was TEU and TFK i think was the main one. The smith and wesson forum will have more info on them. I love 3rd gen smiths.
Oh, another way to tell if its an FBI model is it will not have a mag disconnect. And on the slide it will have the little warning about it being able to fire without the mag present.

That's cool, JB. Still have your Delta Elite? I've kicked around getting one of the 3rd Gens that DaveK has had our there at various times but the timing was never right. I do have a G20/MechTech carbine though. ;-)
