I haven't listened to radio in years, can't stand the commercials. I listen to youtube music (kind of like pandora) streamed from my phone, haven't missed it.

Its not really a 3rd sports station. The Ref has been on AM 1400 for a long time with Toby Rowland in the mornings. They are just moving over to FM.

When I patrol at night, my favorite radio station to listen to is 94.7 The Brew. I think they play the perfect combo of classic rock, alternative and grunge. I was just listening and they played this big long commercial about how they are now becoming The Ref, a new sports radio talk show.



I'm not a huge sports fan. I don't enjoy watching sports on television and I despise listening to sports on the radio. So now, I gotta find another station to enjoy. Sadly, I've searched the dial and I can't find a station that offers what The Brew did. They either play too much kiddy pop music or too many dead guys. I like stuff like Kiss, Skynyrd, SRV, Nirvana, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, ZZ Top, The Doors, STP, Soundgarden, etc. No other station I've found plays all that.

Sorry guys and gals. I just needed to ***** for a minute.

That sucks!!! I listen to 94.7 when I am down towards OKC. I guess it's the KATT now.

I tried listening to the KATT the other day. It was too depressing. I cannot stand the lyrics telling people to kill and commit suicide. "Let the bodies hit the flo!"

bodies is at least 20 years old now.

I am bummed to hear this station will change.
I hate sports radio and TV.
I will need to change the preset on my old Alpine now to something else.

Some people do not have a cell phone.
Like me for instance.
Those things frustrate me more than 94.7 changing to sports radio.

Yep I had it laying around for awhile..it is the one with square buttons that are green when they light up.
I am sure you remember those.
This is not too old it does have a CD player. I have no idea if the CD player works.
