Will there be a run on gun and ammo purchases this November?

Thinking ahead to this fall's election and wondering if there will be a run on guns & ammo. Probably depends on the way the the election polls lean as Nov 11th approaches. Thinking ahead, I don't really need anything specific but might stock up on extra reloading supplies and some cheap range ammo for the AR's AK's and M1A.

Think it'll happen again like in '08, or am I getting a bit paranoid?

The most common calibers of ammunition have been sold out at my Walmart on a pretty consistent basis for over a month now. I only expect it to get worse, but then it'll settle back down again post election.

I was at OAS today picking up a few boxes of range ammo. They had several pallets in there of all different calibers selling by the case. I didn't bother to look at the price since I wasn't shopping for that kind of quanity but if anyone is looking, they definately have quite a bit in stock.
