window security

Has anyone tried or have any experience with 3m window security film, or know of other alternatives to make it that much harder to get into a house.

I have it. When the nephew broke the window, there were no shards flying. Good stuff, really hard to get through, but not impossible

No experience with security film...but I have window sensors on all of my windows that are tied to the alarm system...and this spring I will be planting some prickly bushes outside around all of the windows...

the ace stuff looks great but it would be over $2000 for their lowest level protection to do all my windows. Tapco screens is another one that i've looked at that I like. With them you can have you're windows open and still be secure, but that still gets the price way up their. Maybe I just need a better dog.
