Woman killed, man injured in assault in Moore home
A woman was killed and a man critically injured this afternoon in an apparent assault at a house in Moore.

MOORE — A woman was killed and a man critically injured in an assault in a Moore home, police said.

The name and ages of the victims have not been released, but they are thought to be in their early 20s, police spokesman Jeremy Lewis said.


The man called 911 about 2:30 p.m. and said a woman was dead, and he had been assaulted, Lewis said.

A weapon has not been recovered, but the man was stabbed multiple times, Lewis said.

The man is in critical condition at OU Medical Center, Lewis said

Saw that on the news. The Moore cop who was on tv said that there were several cops and some military folks that lived in the nieghborhood. Also that they never get any calls for that nieghborhood either. Got to be scary for all those people. Looked like an upscale area.

OF it is a little upscale and there are several police cars parked around the addition too. That happened about three doors down from my daughter.

We just went and shot her new (to her) M&P. She's liking that alarm about now...

OK, turns out a few houses down from my cousin. It is a somewhat upscale neighborhood, its near Rock Creek around 4th and Bryant.

Just got off the phone with my daughter. The police and ALL the newsies are still there. She doesn't think they've transported the body yet.

Sad deal and I hope the guy gets caught..

I agree. Bad things can happen to anyone any where. I hope they catch the person or people who did this.

Exactly.
Most criminals know that an upscale neighborhood will reap more rewards, and lots of cons out of prison may have worked for companies that install alarm systems, and got caught coming back later, defeating the alarm systems, and going in.
Alarm systems and their contracts are pretty much crap in my situation. I'm so far out in the sticks they can clean me out before LEO can get there.
