Hope this is no repost.

For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group has been
buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are
Bushmaster,Marlin,Remington,DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R.

Some people worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States. If you control the manufacturers you can
decide to stop selling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns.

Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned
by a company called Cerberus Capital Management. Guess who controls
Cerberus??? GEORGE SOROS !!!!!!!!! One of the most evil men on this
planet who wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns.

They owned Chrysler and sold it to Fiat. Maybe Beretta will own them all before long? They also are a large stakeholder (8%) in Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), along with the US government (73%). Lots of government money handed to them from these brands.

I think it's all about money. Soros won't make any money from Marlin, for example, by restricting their sales. Not much to worry about here, except for what Biggsly is pointing out ;)

Well, instead of not selling to the public, he will just sell poor quality firearms to the public with hopes they wont work. He's doing it already.

Look at the quality of Remington since the acquisition.

Military firearms still get top notch quality and accuracy, civilians get B grade arms with 2 MOA guarantees.

Also, why not merge DPMS and Bushmaster to make DPMaster? Or since there is so much Bushmaster hate, kill it off and use the assets to create DPMS products. They are competing for the same customers.

Using that logic, why doesnt GM merge GMC and Chevrolet trucks and SUV's since they are competing for the same customers? Why isnt there just Generalet trucks? Also, there was no need to merge BM and DPMS since they had announced they were closing BM.

The weak link in this conspiracy theory is the Soros/Cerebrus connection....I haven't found one. I do see that Dan Quayle is a Senior Exec....

Does anyone have a reliable source placing Soros anywhere near Cerebrus Capital Management?

It's way too late in the game to try and aupress rebellion against an approaching evil, so long as those revels are American. Simply put all the people capable, willing and ready to pick up an arm and protect the constitution already own several guns each and small stockpiles of ammo. These Are all guns no one will defectively be able to take Away let alone find.
