WTB S&W model 60 or 66 with a 3 inch barrel

Would like to buy a S&W model 60 with a 3 inch barrel in new or excellent condition.I have cash or i have a S&W shield first generation with less than 50 rounds through it.

I found one 66-3 three inch for $2700 on gun broker. I have a new 66-2 three inch factory fired only with box, paperwork and tools. Make me a offer?

Not worth that to me.I have a 66-1 i bought in the early 80s in better condition than this one.

Correct, the one i showed is a 2&1/2 inch barrel which is what i have.The extra 1/2 inch isn't worth the extra money to me.I paid $350.00 for mine new in 81 and it has less than 50 rounds through it.I don't mind paying 2500-3000 for a nice pistol but it will be a Wilson and not a smith & wesson.

Yeah you can't compare a 2 or 2-1/2 went it comes to price. The three inch were very limited numbers. If you are looking for a Wilson hit me up I have several new ones I would let go.

When i am in the market for another wilson i will let you know, Thanks. I wasn't clear but i would actually be fine with a new S&W 60 or 66 in a 3 inch barrel too.I am friends with the people at Murfs guns here in Duncan and i have asked them to let me know when they get those in.Big Boys has treated me pretty fair in the past but i won't be getting up to OKC for quite a while.

3 inch 66’s are pretty uncommon. I’ve never seen one in the wild that I could afford.

Man, those prices are crazy.
I have an early 80’s S&W 65 with a 3” barrel I might need to consider selling, and it’s even had an action job by Gemini Customs.
