Only 2500 66 with three inch were made thus demanding the higher price. I only found one line at Ten Below Firearms. They will just keep going up and up it price. Mine is new in box built in 1985.

Yes left out the -2 by mistake I was not trying to mislead anyone. I also have a fairly rare 27-2 nickle three inch or 3-1/2.

Try Sooner Guns on Mingo in Tulsa. They has a couple of 3" revolvers there last week, but I don't remember which models.
Yes that's it 3.5 inch. Looks new but I don't have a box and paperwork. I also had a blued one but I let someone talk me out of it a few years ago. Cool old guns for sure.
The biggest advantage of the 3 inchers that most folks overlook, is the full length ejector rod. The 2.5 inch models had a short rod that didn't allow clean, full ejection of spent brass.
Sell it to me, I’d love to have a pair of themMan, those prices are crazy.
I have an early 80’s S&W 65 with a 3” barrel I might need to consider selling, and it’s even had an action job by Gemini Customs.
