Just for the record, this is a list of all my weapons so far.

1. M1 Carbine: I bought it from the son of the Marine that carried it on Okinawa and bought it home.
2. M1 Garand: My son shoots this one like he's paying for the ammo
3. 1903 Springfield Match rifle
4. Colt 1911
5. 91-30 Nagant sniper rifle: loved "Enemy at the Gates", kicks like hell.
6. K98 german mauser
7. Enfield 303 jungle carbine: Really fun to shoot, my 11 year old grandsons favorite.
8. M1941 Johnson: Wall hanger
9. German Luger
10. Lots of memorabilia, several German Daggers, k-bars and bayonets with scabbards for all my long guns.

Anything not on this list you want to sell, PM me, no jap crap.

Here's one of my Nazi Police dress bayonets, this one is rural, because of the brown scabbard, the metropolitan bayonet would have had a black scabbard. I have the frog and correct portapee, not pictured.

That's a great looking lugar. I have never seen a case like that for one. What year is the gun? Does it have a story behind it like your m1?

A lot of collectors like to buy old silverware boxes and things like that, then refinish them and custom line it to display their handguns. I suspect this is one of those examples. If it would have been a real presentation piece, I would have had to pay a heck lot more for it than I did. The pistol is a 1921, no Nazi cartouches on it, but it is all matching numbers, including the clips.

How coincidental. I JUST posted up a documented 1939 Luger from WWII in the Classifieds 2 minutes ago...

It is so interesting to possess something so historical, one can only imagine what it did in it's "life" - if nothing else they need to be saved for future generations...

I love to shoot WW2 weapons so I lean towards those that have been sporterized or have no real collectors value. Mine include an 03a3 and a No4mk1 and I love them both.

On a side note most of the Japanese rifles are not junk. They may look odd and the safety takes some getting used to, but they are strong actions and can shoot very well.

Only the ones made early in the war, Japan didn't have the resourses to keep producing quality weapons, later in the war they were using training rifles. Some of their pistols were dangerous to shoot. Also ammunition is difficult to find.
