Only the ones made early in the war, Japan didn't have the resourses to keep producing quality weapons, later in the war they were using training rifles. Nambu pistols have been known to blow up in your hand.

True but I have never been crazy enough to try and fire a Nambu, and the late war German rifles were not much better.

I have owned several Japanese rifles that I really enjoyed shooting. One was a type 44 that the Chinese had converted to 7.62x39. It had been partly sporterized when I got it (stock cut down and sights screw with) so I put a custom stock on it and used it as a close range hog gun. Worked great and I wish I still had it.

Good to hear you enjoy shooting your weapons. I wouldn't own one I couldn't shoot, but I have one I won't shoot, too valuable.
