Congratulations! Are you very familiar with the area? If you have the time it would be worth a week or two with a spotting scope before hand.
My Brother and I have been hunting that area just south of Laramie Peak on the BLM. We were drawing cow tags every year for a while and than hadnt in a few years. We both got cows one year, the lead cow I gothad a bunch of nice Bulls with her. I think we were just North of the Laramie River. We havnt decided whether to hunt on our own or use an Outfitter, I am going to be 70 and my brother will be 60. I have a full Elk Hunter camp with the tent and all that but its really hard to put all that up and keep it warm.

Congratulations! From what I’ve heard it’s a great tag!! Please tell us all about the hunt and show us a picture of that big bull when you get back.
I can’t imagine waiting that long for a tag and then shooting a dink like that...
