Yep. Carry one on duty. I love the hell out of it. Get a prp drop in trigger kit. Makes it a sweet shooter.

I love mine but the trigger does suck. I have an XD I have shot a few hundred rds through that has a lot better trigger. I will be buying the trigger kit soon.

ive got the 9mm version, done the powder river match trigger job, extended mag release, really cool to see how to release a mag like all u rightys out there, and i did my cool dragon stipple job on it. shot 150 rds or so before the trigger and imho, springfield knocked it outa the park. i added a titanium striker and polished every moving part inside the gun as well, cant wait to shoot it with the new goodies! im 1911 all the way but needed a 9mm and semi auto shotgun so i sold a 1911 ,para p18-9, then got both. im gonna get the .40 or .45 possible in the future. ive tried glocks but for a plastic gun, springer sold me on the xdm competition

I have the XDM9 and the XDM45. Both have been reliable and shot everything I've put through them. The XDM40 is the next thing on my list.

Mine came in today. The sights are very good and trigger pretty decent. Great balance, and shot on target out of box.
LOVE IT!!!
