Owned it for over 28 years. Used when I got it.
Absolutely bulletproof!
Always starts. Rad hoses and fan belts are the only things I've replaced.
I wish real JD's were as reliable.

My JD 3025 has a Yanmar engine. It's a beast for a little 3 cyl. And no emissions crap.

Yanmar is the largest manufacturer of Diesel engines in the world. I don’t remember the threshold, I want to say 45 or 65hp, but they build for everyone but Kubota and a couple of others.
