I haven't missed an election in over 20 years. The only major election I've missed since I was 18 was November 1990.

I missed one election the time my wife tried to kill herself in a car wreck. I’m thinking that’s the only one I ever missed. But I’m not going to say I never missed anymore because life is crazy. Plus I’m old and dumb now.

I cannot image not voting. I still remember the decades old newsreels where elderly people stood in long lines in freezing weather to vote after the communist block countries broke up. It was their first opportunities ever to vote in their entire lives. I guess I'm just trying to say "Use it or lose it".
