I carry a revolver sometimes, on my hip, but the .38 Taurus is too bulky for comfort and concealment. So I switch to the Walther PPS in an ankle holster, but it rubs and trousers aren’t loose and baggy like they were in my formative “keep on truckin’” days. And the shoulder holster makes me feel like Dick Tracy. Old fashioned. So I soldier on, looking for the perfect solution, realizing it’s different for everyone.

Actually, I’m indebted to a Tennessee teenager, a young woman, for popularizing a rarely-considered carry technique. It isn’t quite right for me, but in terms of concealment, it is thoughtful—and I’m guessing here—although more uncomfortable for me than the solutions I have tried.
