I polished a Hi-Point slide and it looked very shiny but after shooting and handling it a lot it got dull and splotchy and just did not look good.
Full polish looked neat.
I tried to add color with some cold blue and it did nothing at all might as well used water.
I got to researching and someone said boil it and it will take color from cold bluing but will not be blue.
I did just that and got an OD green color that looks pretty good and my camera SUCKS!!
