I think that's a very catchy, mainstream approach to get people prepared. On that page that you listed, here is what they said:
"If you are generally well equipped to deal with a zombie apocalypse you will be prepared for a hurricane, pandemic, earthquake, or terrorist attack. So please log on, get a kit, make a plan, and be prepared!"
I like it.

I went to bed on Monday and the 'official' death count was 91.
When I woke up it was 24.
My thought: UhOh, 67 zombies running around.
Not sure I buy into that 'double count' and 'triple count' stuff. They are hiding something from us!!!
