Got a call from a guy around Stillwater. He found 52 yesterday. Bad year for ticks he said.

We went out and found several hundred today. Some little greys under the trees and some big ole yellows in the grass. Ya'll better get after them.........

I'd take you, but I'm mushrooming on a buddy's in-laws land. I'm barely qualifying to get to go there myself & I know them and live in the area. Sorry. My personal land will walk you to death and only produces a handfull on a good year.

any chance someone could post detailed pictures of what they are finding... my main concern is eating the wrong species

Found 55 this evening. Took about an hour to find them.

a freind of mine found a body a couple of years back mushroom hunting and that is enough to keep me out of the woods. i can not get that story out of my head.

Did you see the post in the the general discussion or photos? My computer took a hiatus and I wasn't able to sign in last night, but I did a quick view on a public computer while I was trying to get the drivers I needed.

I found 25 yesterday, they were pretty scarce took about 30 minutes and about 5 or 6 were dried up. I should have been several days earlier because only about 10 or so were fresh.
