The storm thread

So far the drifts are about half of what the Christmas storm was. Looks on radar like the snow is moving east of me. The Christmas storm had us right in the bulls eye and this one looks like it is farther east.

Well I attempted to go to work. Didn't turn out the way I thought it would!'I know I've said it 10 times but, next truck I buy will have 4 wheel drive. I barely made it half way back in to my driveway.

Pretty good drifts in mid-town, wife's car won't come out of the garage until this is all gone.

We are trying to find out if her office is closed today, if not I will be making a trek out in the 4wd truck to get her there. Might try running 2wd just to see if all of the 2wd fans have a chance today.....

I just got the call from work. They said to stay home. It looks like a good day to cook a pot of chili.

I don't think it is as bad as last Christmas. Pretty lame storm for all the hype. At least in Mustang.

Goofball, that is what yesterday was for. Unless you feed them in the woods, they are not going to eat much today anyways. Sucks to be a cow.

My wife's company wanted to make sure someone was there to open the store and receive a shipment this morning so she stayed in a hotel in Tulsa last night rather than risk not being able to drive all the way there from Claremore.

Well not only is her store not going to open today but she cannot even get the minivan out of the hotel parking lot to come home and she is stuck in Tulsa at a hotel at $100 per night and has been on the phone with me for 4 hours trying to figure out an alternative or see if I could make it out to her with the Jeep and extract her from her predicament.

This would require taking my kids out on these roads and I don't feel like I can risk it.

Any suggestions?
