As has been sagely pointed out, the show cannot show every action of the characters, or it would drag on even more slowly. However, it would be nice if they showed an "ammo run" on a sporting goods store or gun shop.

Could you guys imagine going into a Wal Mart which is pitch black due to lack of electricity? A little night vision gear would be good.

Whoever made the comment about them passing up military weapons was absolutely correct. I don't get toting a hunting rifle when you could carry an M4.

No kidding...the last place I'm going near is Fort Benning. It's either secure or full of walkers. The only thing worse than a bunch of isolated rowdy paratroopers who haven't been laid in a while is a bunch of zombie paratroopers who haven't eaten in a while. Neither is going to end well.

YAh thats what I was wondering, go to these ssecure places it will be hard to get in. Also whatever inside can't get out

I think the best bet would be to try to reach the coast and then find an island and clear all the walkers. Surely there would be some nice cabin cruisers at the marina still fueled up.

they should pick up all mil-tech they can find safety to trade later ( m4/ 500rd = 5lb food ) and they should head for open land that they can fortifry -ditches , log walls, picket fences on the lines of 10 centery england.

Or a small town away from a big city that they can clear easily.
