I like mine with a hair trigger and very little travel. When they feel it move, they will back off.

went out saturday and did all the calling with a buddy of mine..called up 4 yotes and a cat.

#1 yote took a shotgun to the face @ 10yrds... (buddy of mine got it, his first w/shotgun and sadly the only take for the day)
#2 yote too far out, and he knew something was up..
#3-#4) yotes at seperate stands came up, i misjudged the berm depth in front of me. called one about mile out, into the south wind with the white mouth call of the primos lil dog calls, was very impressed with that, a first for myself at that distance into a wind...

called a cat at about 200yrds and it went in and out of the tree line and disappeared...

also came up on a friends trap and he too had a hawk in it. thought i would only see that here from previous pics, but low and behold stumbled up on one..

I caught the same hawk 3 days in a row. Moved my trap (but I like what your thinking).

guess she forgot to eat her black eye peas for the new year...lol....got her yesterday to start off the new year, she had some mange to her. we made two stands with nothing showing up. at the third stand three were trotting by, we just got lucky time of the day. we called and here they came. got this one at 30yrds...my buddy missed the other...and i "kinda" dropped the third at about 400yrds...lol. i walked my outta shape butt up to it and at 50yrds it hobbled off into a bottom so i said "F" it...lol

Yep. Long-haired mountain lion at that, pretty rare around these parts.

I got my first bobcat in a trap today. Unfortunately the coyotes got to it before I did tonight, killed and mangled his back end pretty bad. Everything is reset and can't wait to get out there tomorrow and check the trap line.
