I got the idea due to the Scottish games in Tulsa and seeing a thread on the Enos site from last year about 5.11 started a april fools joke about doing a Tac Kilt and so many folks conacted them they did a kilt for about 6 month in 2012 on the WW1/WW2 battle kilt design ( heavy duck cloth kilt or cover for req kilt ) . To find what main family tartan you mit wear try "kilts for you " they list most all family names and the tartan they are aligned with . MC#### and MAC#### are the same family .
A good heavy kilt would not lift in the wee breeze we in okla , any breeze that would everyone would be to busy hanging on to hats and gear to worry about seeing your wee bits and pieces.

Some IDPA shooter shoots in a kilt for cancer.

No one could look any worse than some of the scottish gamers. hairly legs ,big bellies .
