Whether they have authority or don't have authority, I have never seen or heard of one up here going onto private land unless it involved people hunting/poaching antelope.
I miss my game warden... She was hot and pretty dang awesome. Last I heard she moved to Blackwell, leaving us with a now second year JBT

Untill someone complains about hitting on in their car........then they become "yours" or just wild animals again...LOL
Reminds me....in Lawton, we went through a big "your dogs HAVE to be neutered or spayed...no breeding, blah blah blah......" thing a few years back. Well at the same time, the city started gassing prarie dogs to kill them as they were a "hazard" etc...etc... People freaked out for them gassing the PD's and so the city said there were like 40 thousand of them and they belonged to the city so the city could do anything they needed to do to erradicate them.
I wrote the mayor a letter....and charged the city ten million dollars for not spaying and neutering their animals!!
they have NO sense of humor AT ALL.

A few years ago, like, about 30, a GW "caught" my wife & me fishing without licenses. He wrote one of us a ticket, ($55). Told us to get licenses, have a good day, & left.
Encountered one on my 20 down on Atoka lake.
We talked a little and I gave him a key to the gate and told him to use it as he saw fit. It's wooded with no structures.
He was looking for stands.

I've done it twice with two separate guys.
I have done a ride along with a Game Warden. He was out looking for coon hunters that were starting to kill coons too early. He had tank blackout lights installed under his pickup.
