Henry Ford created two different towns for his workers. For the white workers, he created Dearborn, Michigan, because the whites were the "Dearest Born of the Lord".

For his black workers he created Inkster, Michigan. I'll give you three guesses as to why.

Oh, so you're delusional. Thanks for saving me some time typing.

Maybe I am. If one was truly delusional, one would not recognize it, I suppose.
With 84% of the world's population being nonwhite, is it really wrong to wish for something less than the destruction of the white race?
Does a majority white population have any bearing on "bad neighborhoods"?
What does Harrison have to do with Compton?

Racism is one of those things that won't be unseated after a few generations. Even after 10.

It gets quiet and less barbed, but it is still there. My father (a white dude) used to frequent business trips with a black woman (an engineer). He never quite got around the vile comments he heard, spoken to his face from both whites and blacks whenever he & his engineer would wrap up a day of meetings with dinner on the road somewhere.

I have noticed that many people claim to be unprejudiced, but seem to draw sweeping cultural or ethic lines pretty quickly during conversations.

So inbreeding breeds ignorance. No ****.

While there will always be racism, there is no doubt it is much less acceptable to society now than at any other point in this country's history.

How is this sign and different, from Ray Naygun (sp) declaring that New Orleans, would be rebuilt as a " Chocolate City" besides the fact that the races were reversed. I don't recall much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, when that statement was made? I think all of this angst, is predicated on the white guilt industry. So what about the sign, who cares, I would have looked at it and went on. If it bothered me, I wouldn't go back.

Well, the inbred inhabitants of Harrison seem to be wallowing in that ignorance, and making a healthy profit, to boot.

I spend quite a lot of time in East Tulsa, areas predominantly Mexican. Ghetto would be a pretty accurate term, very isolated because of language and legal status. No whining, no entitlements, just hard work. And very "racially proud".
Funny how other areas of the city seem to be decaying, makes me wonder what sinister force is keeping them from thriving. Must be racism.

Open racism in small towns in Arkansas is nothing compared to some of the openly racist posts on this message board.

I sometimes wonder if the majority of crappy members posting stuff like "why did I know the race of the person in that article before I clicked on it" know how many Black, Asian, Hispanic, and Native American shooters are members of OKshooters.com.

This subject comes up a lot when shooting and eating with some of our members who happen to be American supporters of the 2nd amendment and contributing members of OSA, but of a different race than "white". I personally think allowing racist comments on a message board like this one is beyond tacky and it's why I rarely post outside the gear or knife sections anymore.

Seems like that sort of thing used to get called out.

Don't confuse racism with segregation by choice. Not saying racism isn't alive and well, just that most people are more comfortable living among their own.
