If you consider yourself a Christian and support this, you baffle me. I grew up Methodist, and for those of you who aren't aware of what a Methodist believes on the subject, I'll summarize. See, the Methodist church believes that it's not very Christlike to torture people to death.

I am a Christian too and have went to a Church of Christ all my life and I say what he got he deserved. Tell me where it says in the bible that is wrong? So Methodists are against the death penalty but support gays? Explain that one to me.

And to think, I gave my left nut the death penalty. He didn't kill anyone. His crime was he caused untold pain. He had to die. It was justified man. Can't you see that!!!! I agree! They should allow the victim's family to choose the method of execution and allow them to pull the proverbial trigger. If the family can't or won't, send the prisoner back to prison for life.

If as a society we are going to sanction killing criminals then I believe it should be carried out by the people who are affected by the criminals actions.

I don't know what I would do, but I think that if it were my wife or son "I" would want to do the killing.
