The Aloha Snackbar?

ETA: I'll be honest it took me a while to get it, but every time I see this now I laugh so much I nearly cry. Mostly because I envision an SNL skit in which a devout Muslim thinks people are making fun of his faith in front of the "Aloha Snackbar" on Oahu or something. And then comedy ensues. And maybe a failed suicide bombing or something.

At least ya got it. Hoddy still ain't figgered out his link and the Tuetonic vs Tectonic thing.

Yeah I still don't get that. I wasn't aware there was a difference. I thought the only difference was the colloquial spelling of different accents. Like theatre vs theater.

Or is it more like "nuclear" vs "nucular" where one is correct and the only way it should ever be spelled. And the other is the collective mistake of the uniformed, uneducated masses that will eventually effect the way the world views our president? One thing can always be said about GW, he mighta talked not so smart like, but he weren't no b!tch.

Yes. It was also the link itself. It proved or contributed nothing to the thread. But it's ok, Dennis is old and he just retired.

Pet peeve. One who cannot say "nuclear", probably shouldn't have the keys to the nukes. My boss also says "nucular" and it makes me grit my teeth. :(

Does no one else find it odd that he is quoting from the New Testament, 2nd Timothy 3? I wouldn't think a true Muslim would be allowed to even look at a Bible, much less quote from it.

2 Timothy 3 New King James Version (NKJV)

Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Muslims honor Jesus as a prophet, they also (historically at least) respect the Jews as "people of the book."

Well, to the few Muslims I've ever associated with both the old and new testaments are also holy books, but the Qur'an is THE holy book. Almost like the Qur'an is the most recent addition to a pyramid that's made up of monotheistic holy books I guess? Someone fix me if I'm misinformed

That is my understanding also.
