You doubt my shooting ability? The dimes n tic tacs took a lotta shots. The turtle story tho, 100% no BS, my scope was off just a click. I'd shoot, and they'd dive. Bout 5 mins later they'd swim to the bank. Checked em out, each one took their nose off.
LOL, I've hammered a ton of lead on turtle noses. We have a pond with a high dam. The turtles in the middle moved into the weeds after a couple of shots, so we aimed for the nose vs the body after they got into the weeds.
Grew up doing that.
I don't know if I would call it help at the time it took place, but looking back it did "help me not do such stupid things".
It was called a ass whooping! LOL!!!!!!!!!!
And when we would vocally be stupid, he would tell us to "stop talking out our ass" and usually follow that up with a good punch to the arm!
I've at 1 time been slapped in be face by my dad. I deserved it, or at some time I earned it, so I couldn't *****. Talk about humbling.... He's gone now so looking back I was pissed but def deserved it.
