I'm not an attorney, but I'm pretty sure that the SDA allows you to defend another if there is reasonable fear of death.
D. A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

Really, clerk is in fear of their life and I figured he wouldn't leave any witnesses. It absolutely lets you intervene.
I'll take my chances that the last thing he hears is the hammer drop.
I believe this is what you are looking for:
Oklahoma Statutes (O.S.)
Title 21. Penal Code
§ 21-1289.25 PHYSICAL OR DEADLY FORCE AGAINST INTRUDER
This section would also give you the legal right to shoot due to an armed robbery being a forcible felony as far as I understand it. It does not require you to do so and not being an attorney I can not say it is the "correct" thing to do.
Of course you don't have to do anything...you said.."not allowed"
Nightshade cleared that up
Thank You
