Are you suggesting these were FBI tanks?

th

feel free to explain to me how many M1 Abrams tanks the FBI operates. :rolleyes2

You might be a heartless bastard that doesn't care about children, but thankfully most of us don't agree with you. :(

P.S., you failed miserably in refuting ANY of the points I made. Well, except you think what the .gov did to those kids was acceptable.[/QUOTE]

Where to start...let's see--I didn't refute any of your points. Do I have to? Is it a rule? Perhaps its a requirement for full membership in OSA's Perpetually Aggrieved, Perennially Disappointed, Positively Grumpy All the Time Old Fart's Club Debate Society? But here is a point to debate at the next meeting of the OSAPAPDPGATOFCDS: is a main gun a necessary condition by which a large, tracked vehicle becomes a tank? Because the two M1A1 Abrams "tanks" at Waco had their main guns disabled. Without their main armament, are they tanks, or simply large, tracked vehicles, such as a Caterpillar bulldozer, say? Anyway, please debate that point at your club's next get together.

In any event, I don't recall saying that the FBI operated any "tanks", but perhaps it was a simple oversight by my cadre of copy-editors, all of whom, I hasten to add, I have suspended indefinitely due to my suspicion that they may have been moonlighting for another member. My guess, though, is that since relatively few FBI agents are instructed in the finer points of M1A1 Abrams tank operations, they probably did have soldiers operating those large, tracked vehicles (with, you'll remember, their main guns disabled).

Heartless bastard?? Does this mean I'm out of the running for OSA's Humanitarian of the Year (what, again?!?)? Rest assured, dear sir, that based on the compassion you have universally displayed, in this thread and in others, if I have a vote, you will get my endorsement as OSA's Humanitarian of the Year (yes, again!).

One point, though. On any given day, 150,000 people worldwide die. On that day in Waco, when several dozen Branch Davidian idiots went to meet their Maker, another 149,900 and some-odd other people also met their Waterloo. To have cried for them all would mean that you would have to have more tears at your disposal than even our venerated President during his latest national address.

Anyway, I hope I have addressed some of the points you were curious about. Good day to you, sir!

someone please give me an executive summary on this whole thing. So the BLM and Bundy's have an issue. How and why does armed men talk over a BLM building?
Well, basically, the Bundy Boys, their heads still swollen from their "victory" over the Feds in Arizona back in 2014, decided to try and reignite the "Patriot movement" in the wilds of Oregon. They more or less foisted their help on the Hammond family, who originally had the beef with the BLM. Like the Rev. Al Sharpton swooping into town after an officer-involved shooting, the Bundys have ridden to the rescue in Oregon, hoping to stir up far bigger trouble.

The invasion was justified about woman and children being victimized by the poontang king. Now you don't care about women and children. You are a weird fella. You okay with law enforcement being soldiers?

I still haven't heard back from the so-called school administrator that thought your comments were hilarious.
Invasion???? An apocalyptic cult, led by an apocalypse-loving, teenage girl porking idiot ate completely up with a messiah complex, sitting on a stockpile of weapons large enough to start a small war, finally gets the apocalypse it had so long desired by shooting down Federal officers, and you call what resulted from that f*&cked up vision an invasion?? You've got a weird sense of law and order, sport.
