Who are you and what is your rig? I am sure some of you are RDJ peeps.

My old one. 2013 JKU Sport. I traded it in last April to Edmond VW for $5,000 more than I bought it brand new back in 2012. lol

I'm still in the RDJ group, though.

With my wife working the opposite schedule I do and having 3 kids, 2 of which are toddler twins, I just never had time to play with it any more. After 6 months of seeing nothing but pavement and no dirt in my future, I accepted that I'm driving a 16 MPG bouncy sailboat of a commuter 42 miles every day.

I traded it in for a 2015 VW GLI, which is a hell of a lot more fun on the road than my Jeep was, but the top and doors don't come off as easily and snow driving is boring as **** now. :(

Still, I average 30 mpg now and working with my first turbo has been pretty fun.

Here, but occasionally There.
Well, I don't even know what RDJ is, and I don't own this one. It belongs to a nephew who is doing his last year as a contract employee for the Air Force in the Middle East. We went out and did some off-roading in Colorado in 2014 and again in 2015. These photos are from 2014. It's lifted about 3 1/2 to 4 inches with 37" tires in these photos. Makes this old codger work at getting in. I get to take it about once a week or so to just drive it to exercise it. No way I'd go off-roading with it as I don't have that kind of experience.

We love going with him when he's home, though, because I get to take pictures in places that most people never see.

Very nice gents, and I hear you DT... I am looking forward to the day this beast is no longer my only daily driver haha 12 mpg and steering a sailboat through turbulence for a daily commute isn't always fun. Roads look so smooth until you drive a jeep lmao

Reminds me of the, "No officer, I'm not drunk. It's just windy!" joke.

Hahah or on the highway, no car stays within a few feet of you, they zoom around quick or hang way back. I'm sure they all think I've had a bit of the good stuff.

Nice. I've got a 2012 GLI, first year of the Mk6. Mine has been tuned for since 2k miles and turbo-swapped for 80k of the 90k miles. Will probably be picking up a 2017 Tiguan R or R-line, depending on what configurations VWoA offers. Looking forward to new gen motor, AWD, and DSG, all of which will be tuned from Day 1.

Moab is so different, trails are long compared to anything in OK, AR or MO, and long distances between challenges on each trail. If you like granite boulders, give Katemcy Rocks a try, it's not too far away.
