The Lack of "Community" on OSA

So the people posting in the "classifieds" determine the "community" of the forum? Is your expectation that this forum should be a social club?

I remember Post #21. Great example. I don't remember any recent requests like that though, so we may still have the community that would step up to help.

I would hope so! Lots of really good folks here on OSA; seems we just need to get back to the "community aspect" a bit more. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

I do not think that racism is a joke, BUT, I do think that white privilege is an excuse used by many people who have not been handed the success that the feel that they deserve.

OSA needs a safe place.

It is not a matter of a safe place, when members make controversial statements, I'll post. When Mods make them I do not participate in the forum.

We have opinions too. As long as one stays within the forum rules, there will be zero issues.

Some. And a lot of new members have joined. And as I said, the classifieds have changed now from how it used to be. It's still a great forum, and there's a lot of good people. I just want us to get back to that bedrock Okie value of helping each other out, doing business fairly and paying it forward more, like it used to be. Asking too much?
