May I ask where you bought it? Or what dealers may have one in stock?
I ordered mine from centerfireguns.com and had it sent to my ffl. Ended up costing me about $450 out the door.

I've seen them at both Sports World and Second Hand Rose in Tulsa.
I'll check Second Hand Rose this week. Sports World has the 20" in 22 and 22 mag but not the 16.5".
I looked at Second Hand Rose the day before I ordered mine, and they only had the standard 20" model.
My scorpion is very accurate. Very nicely made gun too. Don't see any reason why their their firearms wouldn't be of the same quality.
European threads or 1/2-28?
The CZ website says 1/2-28, but I haven't verified that.
Just took the 512 Carbine to the woods for the first time today. Had a nice #40 male coyote pop out at about 35 yards, and dropped him in his tracks with the first shot. The 512/CCI HP-V combo worked like a dream. Really glad I bought this little rifle, and thanks to the OP for pushing me in this direction.
