I've broken my back twice, I'm not letting someone make it " the third times the charm " but if they stop moving I'll stop shooting.

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Three weeks after a controversial ‘Stand Your Ground’ shooting in Clearwater, charges have been filed in the case. Gunman Michael Drejka is being booked on manslaughter charges for the death of Markeis McGlockton.
The shooting, which was captured on surveillance footage at the Circle A Food Store, had become the focus of local and national protests after Sheriff Bob Gualtieri concluded that last year’s changes to the state’s Stand Your Ground law – which gives citizens the right to use deadly force in self-defense – prevented him from making an arrest while the self-defense claim was investigated.
Monday, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office issued the update on behalf of the State Attorney’s Office, explaining that Drejka, 47, was being booked into the Pinellas County Jail. His bond has been set at $100,000.
The news release included a statement from Sheriff Gualtieri supporting the arrest.
"I support the State Attorney's decision and will have no further comment as the case continues to work its way through the criminal justice system,” Gualtieri stated.

Slightly better optics, anyway. A good prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, or he can choose his presentation carefully and guaranty a no-bill. It's all up to the prosecutor anyway. This decision isn't any better than the one to prosecute Zimmerman, or Mosby prosecuting the Baltimore officers for Freddie Gray's death. It's a political stunt that will further inflame racial tensions.
A better course of action would've been to let a Grand Jury decide whether prosecution was warranted.
Surprised it took this long to tell the truth .Charges have been filed this morning. http://www.fox13news.com/news/local...ge-filed-in-clearwater-stand-your-ground-case
