When you saw them show up to races and hang out with girlfriends more than they did the parents that had a half a million tied up in cycles, and RV's to get them to races you knew it was over for them. Saw it more than once. They never made the circuit the next season.
It takes a dedicated kid to stay in the game and focus like this kid on Clemson has. They have lots of issues to overcome in their climb.
I bet beating Alabama solidifies his determination. His coach sure is high on the guy. I bet the Clemson marketing people are already working on his Heisman campaign.
