let me get one thing straight, covid is not a fake virus and I never said it was, the pandemic is. It is nothing more than the flu.

ZERO! As the human testing has progressed, there have been two pauses because two people in the different tests developed an illness that the study needed to look at before proceeding in the trials. Neither subject's issue came from the vaccine.

Here's my personal experience with this mess. People who need care are not getting it because of a virus someone might catch. It is unconscionable what we, as a society, are doing to people who have legitimate IMMEDIATE health care needs because ... Oh NOSE A VIRUS.
The healthcare system is not failing people because it is "overwhelmed" with deathly ill COVID patients. It is failing people, regardless of what is actually wrong with them because we have corporate hospital systems, insurance companies and drug companies have rigged the system. NOTICE: Healthcare professionals are as much pawns in this system as the patients are. Don't get hurt ... Or sick with anything other than COVID guys ... You will NOT enjoy the ride.

This is actually a true statement. People sometimes not of their own accord are not seeking medical care because they are scared to death of the DEADLY COVID!
My MIL Has been locked down in her assisted living center since the end of January. No visitors, and if you need medical care outside of the facility, you are forced to remain in your apartment for 14 days after leaving for said care be it dental or medical. No socializing with other residents, food dropped at your door in a tray. She said she knows what it's like to be in prison now.
Suicides are at record levels, drug overdoses up, and the list of medical issues keeps climbing from people that are afraid to visit their primary care provider.
Conflicting "covid expert" opinions (I call them opinions because the goal posts keep getting moved by the same experts) have instilled doubt in the public about what is true and what is not which is where we are in this thread.
We have a group that poo poo's anything about covid and we have some that are totally paranoid and ready to shut the country down and require people to be isolated in a saran wrap until this is over.
IMHO covid will never be over even with a vaccine no more than the vaccine for the flu.
News reports keep saying the covid is more contagious as it's evolved so will the vaccine being developed be like the flu vaccine we take now? Some years it works, and some years a different strain develops and the best guess of what vaccine to put out to the public is the wrong guess?
I don't know, this is just my opinion on where we are at now and my thoughts about the new vaccine coming out. Will I take it?
A resounding YES, just like I take the flu vaccine every year.
I'm talking about those of us SEEKING medical care who cannot get it.
