Why are Camaro and Mustang owners driving in this weather?

Drove the red truck for several Ohio winters until I moved to Texas. I think the bigger problem here is people having zero experience with bad weather and thinking 4x4 makes up for experience.

Drove my 2010 Mustang GT 200k in all kinds of weather. Never any problems. Not saying I'd rather have it back than my 2021 Z71 today though.. LOL

I've never, ever high centered on a dry street. Goes along with carrying a pistol. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it?
You obviously haven't driven in Piedmont. Some of their potholes swallow 747's, from the air.

My brz with sports tires does better than my Jeep Wrangler did when I had mud tires on it. My jeep kills it with my all terrains with actual siping. Traction control on the brz really helps, but summer tires at 40 degrees and under is just bad. I wouldn't even try to drive it in this stuff. Now sports cars with winter tires, that is just flat out fun.

Full tank of gas and 100lbs of sand in the trunk goes a long way, some people just can’t drive in this. I’ve driven everything from “sports cars” to Peterbuilts in winter and do think there’s an appropriate tool for the job but you work with what you’ve got. I don’t get into the vehicle snobbery. To me it’s like some jackass telling what guns you “need” vs what they are comfortable with.
