Would that Edmond clinic be Canyon Park?
Nope. We were going to the Mercy clinic on N. Santa Fe.

Sorry you've had a rough time of it, Rick. I know you've been though some $*** already. I gotta say, insulin stuff is a PITA. If you knew going into you appt which insulin your insurance would cover that gives you points over 99.99% of patients. Over 90% of them can't even list their own medications. And if they carry a WRITTEN list, it's invariably wrong.
I feel your pain - the lack of communication sucks. I have 2 specialists and then my primary care doc, all of them asking what meds I'm on and what the others have been doing. The lack of communication and information is unnerving.
Speaking of meds. Breakfast, the most important meal of the day!

I keep my list on my computer, update it every time it changes and print off a copy to take every time I go to the doc. Saves trying to remember them all and write them all down every time. Simpler to just hand them the list.
Dang! That sounds like the crap I have to deal with each and every time I need a prescription renewed or get a new medication. It can be very frustrating dealing with the incompetence that abounds most everywhere these days.and nurses.
Last week my main doc wanted me change my fast acting insulin. I agreed and told them which ones my insurance covered, and that I was almost out of my old one. "No problem, we will get it called in" Couple days later I found out they called in one that is not covered. I call the doc to get it corrected, she is busy but we will give her the message.
Two days later I am out of fast acting and call again. She is out of the office until Tuesday (today) I call this morning. "We will get that straightened out." Again I get notice they called in the wrong insulin. Call them back. This time I think they got it right but when I go in for labs Friday I better not hear my levels were to high.
I also got calls from 2 others today setting up appointments. Not a good day.
This thread has me anxious about getting older...
